About TDEE Calculator
A fast, private, ad-free TDEE calculator built on validated science — no logins, no email, no data collection.
Why we built this
Most calorie calculators bury the tool under pop-ups, slow page loads, and broken forms. We wanted the opposite: a calculator that loads instantly, runs entirely in your browser, respects your privacy, and explains every number it gives you in plain language.
TDEE is the anchor for every nutrition decision. Get it right, and fat loss, maintenance, and muscle gain all become simple arithmetic. This site exists to make that first number fast and trustworthy.
What makes it different
- Faster: static pages, no blocking scripts, no ad networks — built to score near-perfect Core Web Vitals.
- Private: every calculation runs client-side. Nothing is sent, stored, or logged.
- Validated: Mifflin-St Jeor by default, with Katch-McArdle, Cunningham, and revised Harris-Benedict for comparison. See the methodology.
- Honest: clear error margins (about ±10%) and a recipe for adjusting on real weight change.
Formulas used

| Katch-McArdle | Lean-mass BMR when body fat % is known |

| Harris-Benedict (Revised) | Historical comparison |
